About Erika M. Francis, MD
Dr. Erika Francis hails from Ohio, which is where she earned an undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition then graduated from Ohio State University Medical School in 1999. She headed south to complete her residency at University of South Carolina Medical School in 2002. For more than 17 years, Dr. Francis has practiced medicine in the Clearwater-St. Petersburg area, working in both Cosmetic Medicine and Emergency Medicine, in which she is Board Certified. With extensive experience in many areas including Laser Lipo, specifically Smartlipo, PRP Hair Restoration and a variety of non-surgical cosmetic procedures, she has also received training in cosmetic dermatology, facial fillers, Botox, IPL and ICON™ Eraser Laser treatment. With these procedures, and particularly lipo treatments, Dr. Francis has enjoyed the hugs of many clients who have had their confidence renewed. When it’s time for a break, Dr. Francis heads to the water either locally or to just about any island. She also gives her time and energy to supporting pediatric care at the hospitals of Morton Plant Mease by working with the Skip Cline Society on its fundraising efforts. The organization has made significant contributions to Morton Plant Mease including donating a neonatal intensive care unit baby simulator.
