About Eric S. Rothenberg, MD
Doctor Rothenberg received his medical degree from New York Medical College in 1985. His internship and General Surgery Residency were completed at The Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City where he was Chief Resident in General Surgery from 1990 until he graduated in 1991. Dr. Rothenberg then completed a fellowship in Hand Surgery at the Houston Northwest Medical Center and then joined the Hand Surgery Centres of Texas for One year. In 1993 he opened his private practice in Surgery of the Hand. After spending three years in private practice in Houston, Dr. Rothenberg returned to New York City and completed a residency in Plastic Surgery at The State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center. In 1999 he returned to the Houston area where he reestablished a practice both in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery as well as Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Rothenberg is board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of The American College of Surgeons.
