About Emily Giroux, DDS
Dr. Emily Giroux is a graduate of Creighton University School of Dentistry and the three-year Prosthodontics Program at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She is board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr. Emily has been in practice since 2007 and took over her father’s practice full time in 2018 when he retired. Dr. Emily was a clinical faculty member at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. She is currently an adjunct clinical faculty member at University of Detroit Mercy and New York University Langone where she teaches dental students and residents. Dr. Giroux cares deeply about her patients and their outcomes. She is up-to-date on the latest techniques, products and procedures. Her goal is long lasting, long term restorations rather than short term solutions. Dr. Emily possesses a surgeon’s precision and an artist’s sensibility, so her restorations combine the best fitting product with the most natural appearance. Dr. Giroux works with other specialists, when needed, to provide complementary dental procedures. Dr. Giroux is a member of the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Macomb Dental Society and is a Fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. Dr. Emily calls Clarkston home, where she lives with her husband and their daughter. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, art projects, biking and traveling.
