About Elizabeth A. Iocca, DDS
Dr. Elizabeth Iocca is a native of Jackson, Michigan. She attended Lumen Christi High School before heading to Central Michigan University, where she received her B.S. in Biology and her M.S. in molecular genetics. Following CMU, she attended dental school at the University of Detroit Mercy. She then traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, where she completed a one-year general practice residency before returning to Jackson, Michigan in 2016 to practice along with her father Dr. Mark Iocca. Dr. Elizabeth believes in the value of education and has continued to be involved in the teaching of future dentists by teaching at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry part-time. Along with helping dental students navigate patient care in clinic, she also has traveled to Haiti every year since 2014 with a group of dental students in Delta Sigma Delta to provide dental care to people who otherwise could not afford treatment. Dr. Elizabeth also enjoys sponsoring local fundraisers including; local school sales and children’s sports teams. Dr. Elizabeth and her husband Gustavo enjoy cooking very much along with traveling. Dr. Elizabeth also shares the same affinity of golf as her father and participates in as many dental related golf tournaments as they can!
