About Elias Deros, DMD
Dr. Elias Deros is a Connecticut native having grown up in Rocky Hill and graduated with honors with a BA in Biology and Psychology from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York. He came back home and received his dental degree from The University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine in Farmington 1993. After completing a General Practice Residency in Dentistry at the Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, New Jersey, D. Deros once again returned to Connecticut and has been in private practice for over 24 years. Dr. Deros is a member of the American Dental Association, Connecticut Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Greater Waterbury to which he is a past president. For fifteen years Dr. Deros was a clinical instructor/attending in the General Practice Residency in Dentistry at Saint Mary's Hospital and for ten years he was Chief of Dental Services for Cheshire House Rehabilitation Center both of which are in Waterbury. Dr. Deros is committed to the practice of dentistry through continuing education. He has taken many courses through his career in numerous disciplines of dentistry. He is certified in invisalign and has completed courses in conscious sedation and TMJ. Dr. Deros treats patients of all ages and levels of dental needs from simple fillings to comprehensive dental care including tooth replacement and dental implants. He especially takes great pride in the ability to help patients overcome their dental phobia's and with his staff has given many patients the ability to take care of their long overdue dental needs and build their self-confidence as well as regain both their dental and overall health. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and daughter whether watching swim meets, cross country races and lacrosse games to dance competitions. They all enjoy traveling to both Cape Cod and the shores of southern Maine.
