About Elaine Vowell, DDS
Dr. Elaine Vowell is inspired to provide exceptional dental care to all of her patients, all of the time. She believes dentistry is an awesome profession and she is proud of the care her staff provides. Born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska she left the cold in her pursuit of higher education. She and Dr. Pak have been friends and colleagues since they met in dental school in 1999. Upon graduation from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2003, she continued her education by completing a one-year post-doctoral education program in Florida, earning the American Dental Association certificate of Advanced Education in General Dentistry. For the next four years, she provided care for sailors in the US Navy. First, aboard the USS RONALD REAGAN from 2004 to 2006 and then at the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, CA from 2006-2008. In 2008, she moved to Charlotte, NC where she joined her Dr. Pak at Ayrsley Family Dentistry. Dr. Vowell actively engages in dental education with the goal of continuous improvement and growth. In 2008, she earned the prestigious fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry, completing 500 hours of dental continuing education. She continues her dedication to providing the most current and comprehensive dental care with her membership in the Spear Study Club. She is also a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. When she isn’t at work she is busy with her family. She and her husband, Kasey, are blessed with three daughters; Teneisha, who is following in her parent footsteps and joining the US Navy, Reagan a precocious three-year-old, and Evelyn who is busy cutting her baby teeth.
