About Denise Henderson, DDS

I always knew I wanted to go into dentistry. I was born and raised in the Bay Area and attended Saratoga High School. I went on to study Ecology and Evolution at UC Santa Barbara where I received my Bachelor of Science. While there, I completed a year of study at the University of Queensland in Australia. I then finished my dental education at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and received my DDS degree in 2003. Loving the Bay Area, I returned immediately to be able to serve the community I grew up in. I have been in private practice for over 10 years and I love what I do! I enjoy the field of dentistry because it allows me to help others as I educate them on the importance of oral health and its connection with overall systemic health. I treat adults and children in my family and cosmetic general practice here in Palo Alto. I offer such services as prevention, restoration, crown and bridge, implants, TMJ treatment and much more. In addition, I love offering cosmetic enhancement options to people such as Invisalign, Zoom whitening and Lumineers “no prep” veneers. I will work with you and explain your options thoroughly so that we may together achieve your optimal dental and cosmetic goals. I am an active member in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Mid-Peninsula Dental Society, Academy of General Dentistry and Academy of Osseointegration. I love continuing my education through classes and webinars so that I can stay on top of the most up to date and innovative options available to my patients. In my spare time, I love to spend time with my wonderful husband and two beautiful children. We enjoy being outdoors and playing sports, such as horseback riding, tennis, skiing, field hockey, and hopefully soon I will be brave enough to hit the golf course! We have a chocolate labrador retriever and 5 chickens currently on our “farm”. I have a wonderful team supporting me in my office who all have many years of experience in their own field of expertise and will make you feel comfortable, welcome and appreciated.
