About Debra J. Atkins
Dr. Debra Atkins is double board-certified with the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine and the American Board of Laser Surgery. She received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Medical Services Management from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and School of Continuing Studies. She received residency training in Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Preventive medicine, and later a fellowship in Aerospace Medicine. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Atkins worked for and also recently retired from Delta Air Lines, Inc., the motivation of her interest in Aerospace Medicine. She is licensed to practice in Georgia. She has two sons currently in college, three dogs and one small rabbit. Dr. Atkins is a fellow with the American Board of Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine. She is currently or has been in the recent past an Associate of the American Society of Liposuction Surgery (a subspecialty organization of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery), as well as the International Society of Dermatology, the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, the American Academy of Internal Medicine and the American Society for Aerospace Medicine. Her research has led to numerous publications and lectures in Dermatology.
