About David D. Shushtari, DDS
Dr. Shushtari is a Detroit native and has lived his whole life in metro Detroit. He attended Our Lady of the Lakes High School in Waterford before going on to the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to obtain a BS in biology (1988) and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (1992). He has been in practice at Pierce Street Dental (previously SP Dental) since graduation in 1992. Dr. Shushtari also operates a second practice, Today’s Smiles, in Waterford. He practices all types of dentistry and is dedicated to practicing dentistry in a neighborhood-focused dental office. Dr. Shushtari is a devoted U of M Wolverines fan and frequently writes and comments on Wolverines’ blogs. He has been married for over 20 years and has two sons. Outside the office he enjoys architecture, gardening, and following collegiate sports. He loves Detroit and is excited about the city and suburbs’ revival.
