About David Liland
Dr. David L. Liland, M.D., was born and reared in Dallas, Texas. His undergraduate degree is from Southern Methodist University, and his doctorate of medicine is from Southwestern Medical School. After completing five years of General Surgery at Louisiana State University (where he served as chief administrative resident), he completed his plastic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. He has been in private practice for cosmetic surgery since 1991, and has been Board Certified since 1994 by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Liland specializes in state-of-the-art techniques to perform cosmetic surgery procedures such as breast augmentation, breast reduction, and breast lifts; face lifts, liposuction, and abdominoplasty. These procedures account for 95% of his practice. To remain current in knowledge and techniques, Dr. Liland attends numerous seminars and specialty meetings yearly.
