About David R. Gordon, DDS
Dr. David R. Gordon has been practicing dentistry in the Clear Lake area since 1990. Throughout the years, the mission for Dr. Gordon and his experienced team has remained consistent: to provide the highest quality of treatment in a personal, caring environment. This is not a slogan. They create this environment by getting to know their patients first, assessing their needs, desires and apprehensions and then communicating clearly how to address them all. While Dr. Gordon performs a wide array of dental procedures, his focus is primarily on cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry. He realizes that many people are unhappy with some aspect of their smile and works to enhance their appearance by utilizing the most current techniques and technology to deliver the most ideal combination of whitening, reshaping, resurfacing and, when necessary, replacement of unattractive teeth. In an era of heightened demand for ""makeovers"" of all sorts, it is reassuring to know that Dr. Gordon has been providing this treatment for over 20 years. His enhanced training and multiple certifications allow him to administer oral medications to induce conscious sedation in the office to enable even the most anxious patient to receive treatment quickly and easily. Dr. Gordon received dual bachelor degrees from Tulane University in New Orleans and, after conducting research in cell biology at Baylor College of Medicine here in Houston, went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from The University of Texas Health Science Center Dental Branch in San Antonio, where he conducted research on an assortment of biomaterials used in dentistry today. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association and the Greater Houston Dental Society. He is also a member and past president of Delta Sigma Delta Dental Fraternity.
