About David De Jongh, DDS
Dr. David de Jongh, D.D.S. is a true American success story. A native of Santiago, Cuba he immigrated to the United States at an early age with his physician father and concert pianist mother, eventually settling in Houston, Texas. Dr. de Jongh’s parents instilled in him a strong work and personal ethic. His father, a world renowned pathologist, taught by example. With an unwillingness to compromise his standards, and a credo of always approaching any task in the best way possible, he passed his strength of character and deeply caring approach to life onto his son. Taking these lessons to heart, Dr. de Jongh excelled in school. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1976. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dentistry degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch Houston in 1980. In private practice for over thirty years, Dr. de Jongh has developed a loyal following of patients, many of whom travel from out of state so that they may enjoy the comfort of being treated by a dentist dedicated to delivering the highest level of patient care. Known for his excellence and expertise in cosmetic dentistry, he has developed a unique dental office concept by incorporating an upscale yet relaxed spa atmosphere to pamper his patients. Using advanced concepts in general dentistry, Dr. de Jongh delivers top quality comprehensive restorative dentistry including implants. Dr. de Jongh is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Houston Dental Society, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentists, and a Faculty member/Implant Director for the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. He has been honored as a 2010 Texas Monthly Top Dentist, 2009-2014 Preferred Provider for Invisalign, 2013 People’s Choice Awards and 2014 H-Magazine Top Dentists. A devoted husband and father to three daughters, Dr. de Jongh is also an avid golfer and horseman.
