About David J. Bainer, DDS
My Name is Dr. David Bainer and I am the Dentist in Escondido here at The Smile Gallery. We are located on Grand Avenue here in Escondido. I am a graduate of Loma Linda University School of Dentistry class of 2009. I opened my office here in Escondido in January 2014. After graduating from Loma Linda University I had the good fortune to be awarded the National Association of Seventh Day Adventist Dentist Award for high standards of character, conduct, demonstration of leadership, and a commitment to mission outreach programs. I have had the opportunity to provide free dental care to people in Mexico, Jamaica, El Salvador, and Bangladesh. I am currently involved in the Thousand Smiles Foundation which provides dental care and dental surgery for underprivileged children in Ensenada, Mexico. I am a licensed provider of Invisalign and also hold a license in Oral Conscious Sedation. I am a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and San Diego County Dental Society. The reason why I chose the dental profession is my passion for helping others, and that passion drove me to acquire skills that would allow me to heal, repair, and restore a person’s oral health. Through the years I have seen how, by improving a patient’s oral health, I can also improve the psychological and emotional health of that patient. But a dentist is more than just fixing teeth. A successful dentist treats the whole person and is mindful of a patient’s needs, so that when a patient sits in the dental chair, he or she feels important, valued, and cared for. During my interactions with patients there is nothing I enjoy more than helping a patient feel like there is no other person more important than them. I also show others around me respect, sincerity, and love so that the experience for me and for those with whom I work is positive and rewarding. When not in the office you can find me spending time with family, in the ocean surfing, or occasionally on the golf course.
