About Daniel P. Thomas, DMD
Dr. Thomas was born in Skowhegan, ME, but spent most of his childhood in northeastern PA. He is the youngest of seven children and the son of a dentist. He is a graduate of Shippensburg University (2000, BS Biology, Cum Laude) and Temple University School of Dentistry (2004, DMD, Magna Cum Laude). Dr. Thomas was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society upon graduation. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA), the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the Pennsylvania Academy of General Dentistry (PAGD). Every other year since 2012 Dr. Thomas has traveled to Guatemala City with a group from his church to provide dental care to the underserved people who live in and around the city garbage dump. In 2007 Dr. Thomas purchased the dental practice of Drs. Louis and Leonard Perrone. The Perrones served the community of Royersford for almost 40 years and Dr. Thomas aims to carry on their legacy of quality dental care and exceptional service. In 2014 Dr. Thomas moved the practice from the corner of 5th and Main St. to it's current location after renovating the historic property at 701 Main St. Dr. Thomas and his wife, Carrie reside in Limerick with their four children, Danny, Erin, Leah and Norah. When not coaching or watching his kids play sports he enjoys golfing, reading, and anything related to Penn State football!
