About Daniel A. Allen, DDS
Dr. Daniel Allen graduated Cum Laude from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 2000. He is proud of his association with the University of Texas where he served his fellow classmates as President of his class all four years of school. During his time in Dental School he received numerous honors including: The Research Honor Student Award, The Outstanding Academic Achievement Award, The Award for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry, and the Dean's List. He was selected to receive grant money from The National Institute of Health for two seperate research projects which he completed and presented in various locations in the United States. He was involved in a Japanese dental student exchange program and also worked as a dentist during school with the Bureau of Prisons. As a native of Arizona, he could not wait to finish school and head back ""home"" to practice dentistry among his friends and loved ones. He has owned his own practice since 2001 and takes great pride in his practice and his office staff. He has a continual thirst for knowledge and is on a never-ending search for ways to make dentistry more efficient and comfortable for the people he serves. Over the past few years he has implemented the use of CO2 and Diode lasers for various soft tissue procedures and has even completed numerous courses and a residency program in the placement of dental implants. His passion for dentistry has allowed his practice to grow and thrive. He finds his greatest joy in the time he spends with his family and friends. He is a father of four awesome kids and a husband to his beautiful and talented wife Kim. He enjoys running, scuba diving and competing in various athletic challenges including running the Grand Canyon from rim to rim and completing the Tough Mudder obstacle course! In his spare time he volunteers as a coach for two soccer teams, is a Scoutmaster, and participates in various capacities at his church.
