About Dana Swayze, DMD

Dr. Swayze practices dentistry with a Quality First approach. She believes in providing her patients with the highest quality of care and creating long-term relationships. She has an extensive following which includes moms, dads, kids, toddlers, and grandparents. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and French from Southern Methodist University. Additionally, she earned a Masters Degree in Microbiology from Georgia State University where she focused her studies on Dental Plaque as a biofilm. She further continued her studies and received a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, GA where she was consistently recognized on the Dean’s list for her academic achievements. Dr. Swayze is the recipient of the Outstanding Achievement award in Operative Dentistry as well as earned a nomination for the American College of Dentists Professionalism Award. Dr. Swayze is committed to advanced continuing education, attending lectures throughout the world where she focuses her studies on Cosmetic Dentistry and Full Mouth Rehabilitative Treatments. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Association of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Swayze currently lives in Carrollton, TX with her husband Garrett. They both have a two year old son, Julien. Dr. Swayze is dedicated to a healthy lifestyle and enjoys doing yoga and often bikes to work. She enjoys many hobbies including dancing the Argentine Tango, learning new languages and traveling.
