About Dana C. Jones, DDS
A fundamental part of our practice is an emphasis on patient education. Naturally, this focus on the importance of dental education is exemplified in Dr. Dana Jones’ own dedication to continuing education for himself and the dental team. A 1991 graduate of the University at Buffalo, School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Jones has participated in numerous courses and seminars on a variety of advanced dentistry topics, including the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies, which focuses on occlusion and TMJ and The Hornbrook Group’s Ultimate Occlusion and Full Mouth Synergy. He is also a graduate of the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. In addition, Dr. Jones has advanced training from New York University and was a clinical teacher at NYU Dental School. Dr. Jones has been happily married for 25 years and is the proud father of three children. Chelsea, a graduate of Princeton University, Griffin, a student at the University of Maryland, and Olivia, a student at Ridgefield High School. Away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, attending sporting events, and playing softball and volleyball. He is also an avid runner and participates in the annual Leatherman’s Loop Cross Country Race. Dr. Jones and FamilyDr. Jones was voted best Dentist in a Fairfield Count Weekly best readers’ poll. In 2008, he won the Dentist of the Year at the Mrs. Globe Pageant. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetic and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is currently a Faculty Club Member in the Spear institute for Advanced Dental Education.
