About Cynthia Elliott, MD
Cynthia Elliott, M.D. is the owner of Skinspirations and it's affiliated practitioner training company, ExpertEsthetics. As a national speaker and trainer for several esthetic companies including Allergan, (the company producing Botox and Juvederm), Cutera lasers, and Suneva Medical (producers of Bellafill), Dr. Elliott teaches basic and advanced injection and laser techniques to other doctors and practitioners in both the U.S. and the Caribbean. She's also produced multiple injection instruction videos that can be viewed on Youtube. With her exposure to seeing other practitioners' techniques, she's recruited some of the best in the area to the team at Skinspirations. An expert’s expert, Dr. Elliott has served as an Expert Witness in Cosmetic Medicine, reviewing cases pro bono for the Florida Board of Medicine. Dr. Elliott has practiced in the Tampa Bay area since 1990. Board-certified in emergency medicine, she spent fifteen years working mostly in the emergency departments of St. Joseph's Hospital and Bayfront Medical Center. Then in 2005, after two years of cosmetic medical training with her dermatologist, she opened her practice devoted exclusively to cosmetic medicine. Because of her reputation for results and innovative techniques, Dr. Elliott was chosen by Allergan & Cutera in 2007 to provide training for practitioners learning cosmetic injectable and laser treatments. She started ExpertEsthetics to provide individual hands-on training to other doctors and providers in 2008 and since then, has trained many of the cosmetic physicians in the Tampa Bay area. With her background in emergency medicine and experience in fat transfers, it was a natural transition to start offering regenerative treatments to her patients, using their body's own cells to heal and restore. Dr. Elliott performed her first treatment with fat-derived healing factors on her uncle in 2014, who had been advised that only a knee replacement could relieve his pain and maintain his active lifestyle. Now, over five years later, her uncle is still bicycling every day and feels his knee still feels at least 50% better than before he had the single treatment. Regenerative medicine using multiple types of a patient's cells, including blood plasma and fat, is a passion of Dr. Elliott's. She's currently obtaining a patent on a new regenerative treatment she developed and just trademarked and may patent her new skincare product named Skinbucha.
