About Craig M. Hanson, DDS
Dr. Craig Hanson was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but has been a lifelong resident of Michigan. He attended Michigan State University receiving his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiology. He attended the University of Detroit School of Dentistry and graduated with honors, receiving his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He was also inducted into the national dental honor society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a privilege reserved for the top fifteen percent of graduating dentists. Immediately after graduation, he began his practice in Bloomfield Hills with one of his mentors from dental school. Dr. Hanson was also employed as an instructor in the Prosthodontics Department at the University of Detroit during the four years immediately following graduation. He has completed extensive training in Orthodontics, Cosmetic Dentistry and Implant Restoration. Dr. Hanson makes continuing education an important part of his practice. Dr. Hanson and his wife Leyla, reside in the area. They spend all the time they can with their three sons Scott, Daniel, and Marc, daughters-in-law Chelsea and Desi, as well as their two grandsons, Leo and Ian. They also enjoy travel and boating.
