About Craig E. Berris, MD
Dr. Berris is respected as one of the preeminent oculoplastic surgeons in Northern California. He is a clinical professor at the University of California, Davis and is an integral part of the training program there, where he teaches his advanced surgical techniques to other physicians. In his career, he has performed more than 15,000 procedures and is the founder and director of the Center for Cosmetic Eyelid and Laser Surgery . He is considered by patients and peers alike to be dedicated, knowledgeable and caring. His friendly, outgoing nature makes him a popular guest speaker. Dr. Berris graduated from UC Berkeley and received his medical degree from the University of California, Davis. He then completed his internship in internal medicine at UCLA. This training was followed by a three-year residency in ophthalmology at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA. After completing his training in ophthalmology, he served a fellowship in oculplastic and reconstructive surgery at the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
