About Conner Chan, MD
Dr. Chan is the main physician at Baytown Dermatology. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University in 2002, then his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston in 2008. During medical school, he found his passion in the field of dermatology. He went on to complete an internship in Internal Medicine at UTMB, then his residency in Dermatology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. After graduation, Dr. Chan moved back to Texas to be with his wife and family. Dr. Chan is the recipient of multiple awards during his medical training, including induction into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor society, induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, finalist for the prestigious Golden Cane award, Intern of the Year during his preliminary year at UTMB, and was a Chief Resident at LSU New Orleans. He received the Baytown Sun's Reader's Choice award for Best Dermatologist in 2019, and recognition as one of Houstonia Magazine's top medical professionals. Dr. Chan is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is the president of the Texas Dermatological Society for 2019-2020. He is also a member of the Houston Dermatological Society, a member of the Academy of Dermatology, and a young physician ambassador for the Harris County Medical Society. Outside of dermatology, he enjoys physical fitness, amateur photography and spending time with his young family.
