About Charles Zugerman, MD
Charles Zugerman, MD has been in private practice of dermatology in the Gold Coast area of Chicago since 1982. He is an Associate Professor of Clinical Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical School and a member of the medical staff at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Before going into private practice, he was fulltime in Northwestern’s Dermatology Department and was closely involved in resident education. He also serves as a longtime consultant to the Blistex Corporations, a well-known manufacturer of Acne and lip care products. Dr. Zugerman has published numerous scientific articles, text book chapters and has lectured widely to professional and nonprofessional audiences. His specialty interests include general dermatology, malignant melanoma and other skin cancers, contact dermatis and cosmetic dermatology among others. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology as well as having memberships in the Noah Worcester society (membership limited), and the Chicago Dermatological society. He is a member of the Department of Dermatology at Northwestern University Medical school and is board certified by the American Board of Dermatology.
