About Catherine A. Ruiz, DDS
Dr. Catherine Anne Ruiz graduated from New York University. She has been admitted in the NYU Kappa Honors Society as well as the TMJ Honors Society. Additional education includes attending the American Academy for Functional Orthodontics and TMJ in 1992. She practices orthodontics using light wire technique and functional appliances. As part of the group of dentists who pioneered TMJ treatment in the Philippines, she did her own chiropractic manipulations and lectured for the Philippine Dental Association in this field. Dr. Catherine Ruiz has completed her residency for Oral Surgery at the Veteran's Hospital in New York City. She also pursues post-graduate studies to stay current with modern dentistry as well as modern technology to allow her to perform dentistry in a faster and more comfortable fashion. Dr. Catherine Ruiz has expertise in all facets of dental care, including cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, TMJ treatment, and endodontics.
