About Caroline F. Okonkowski, DMD
Dr. Caroline Okonkowski is the owner of Taylor Smiles. She graduated from the University of Montreal, Canada in 2002 and completed an Advanced Clinical Education in general dentistry in 2003. She joined Taylor Smiles in 2009 where she has been offering exceptional dental care to thousands of patients. Patients travel from other states and countries to see Dr. Okonkowski as she provides the highest standard of care, with her warm and friendly approach, in a compassionate and caring environment. She is also committed to developing a customized dental plan that will address your personal needs and concerns. Dr. Okonkowski was awarded “Top Dentist USA” in 2016, 2017 and 2018. She was also honored “America’s Best Dentist” and “Leading Physicians of the World” awards. She has been featured in national magazines, including Dentaltown and local newspapers, including The News-Herald and Taylor Today. Dr. Okonkowski is an active proponent of post-graduate continuing education and she is committed to constantly improving her skills in quickly advancing dental technologies. She is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, Scheduling Institute and an Associate Fellow of the World Laser Institute. She is also a certified Invisalign provider. Dr. Okonkowski is very involved in the Taylor community and believes in giving back. For 11 years, Dr. Okonkowski has co-hosted “Dentistry from the Heart,” an event which provides free dental treatment to adults in need. She also proudly sponsors “Family Health Day” with the Taylor Rotary, Taylor Little League Baseball, Taylor Farmers Market, local health fairs, Fish & Loaves Community Food Pantry as well as being involved in multiple fundraisers, sponsorships, and community events. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She also speaks French fluently. Dr. Okonkowski looks forward to bringing out the full beauty of your smile.
