About Carol Sims-Robertson, MD
Dr. Sims was Chief Resident at Wayne State University’s Department of Dermatology and Syphilology from 1986 to 1987. In 2001, She was appointed Clinical Instructor in Dermatology at Wayne State School of Medicine. She is certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and is licensed to practice medicine in four states: Michigan, Florida, California and Georgia. Well-trained and well-traveled, Dr. Sims is an American woman of multicultural heritage. Patients enjoy her friendly bedside manner, her sensitivity to the concerns of her patients, and her respect for patients’ cultural differences. She is a highly skilled dermatologic surgeon who excels in diagnosing difficult cases. She has achieved fantastic results prescribing expert treatment for a wide variety of hair, nail and skin conditions. Dr. Sims-Robertson is a 1983 graduate of the School of Medicine of the University of California in San Francisco, one of the top five medical schools in the United States. She completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Detroit’s Henry Ford Hospital in 1984. She completed a three-year residency in Dermatology at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
