About Caitlin Porubsky, DO
Dr. Caitlin Porubsky earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University before completing her medical degree at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Porubsky began her training with a Traditional Rotating Internship at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan. During her training, she pursued a Research Fellowship at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida. This fellowship was in cutaneous oncology with a focus on melanoma. She then completed a dermatology residency through Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Roswell, Georgia, serving as Chief Resident her senior year. Her mission is to provide each of her patients with high quality, personalized and compassionate care for all their dermatology needs. She has interests in skin cancer prevention and treatment, specifically surgical dermatology, along with general medical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Porubsky has been published in prestigious medical journals and contributed to textbook chapters. Dr. Porubsky was born and raised in Plymouth, Michigan before leaving for medical school and training. She is excited to be back home! She enjoys spending time with family, especially her husband and their Golden Retriever, Harper. She loves traveling, skiing, wake surfing, and hiking.
