About Bryan K. Sun, MD
Bryan Sun, MD, PhD, is a board-certified dermatologist who treats a variety of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis and acne. He also performs skin screening for skin cancer. He has a special interest in genetic skin diseases and genetic syndromes with skin manifestations. As an assistant professor of Dermatology at UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Sun conducts research on genomic regulators of skin development, homeostasis and disease. Prior to joining UC San Diego Health, Dr. Sun was an attending physician/clinical instructor at Stanford Healthcare and Lucille Packard Children's Hospital. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he also did his residency. He earned his medical degree and PhD in genetics from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Sun is board-certified in dermatology. Dr. Sun is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and the Dermatology Foundation.
