About Bruce Kraemer, MD
Dr. Bruce Kraemer specializes in adult plastic and reconstructive surgery, wound care, and hand surgical care. His areas of specialty include breast surgery, cosmetic surgery, body recontouring, and regenerative medicine. He applies the latest techniques in his practice, including the use of extracellular matrix (ECM) products to constructively remodel wounds and promote the healing of non-healing wounds. Dr. Kraemer is interested in research into the use of extracellular products with plastic surgery patients. He is a professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery), at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He serves as chief of the division. Dr. Kraemer is a member of the board of Doorways, an interfaith AIDS housing and services organization. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, scuba diving, photography, and creating stained glass and fused glass artwork.
