About Brian Y. Suzuki, DMD
Dr. Suzuki was born and raised In Honolulu, Hawaii. He moved to San Diego to attend the University of California, San Diego as a bioengineering major. While working at his uncle’s pediatric dental office in Oceanside he developed an interest and passion for dentistry. Dr. Suzuki’s uncle encouraged him to pursue his passion and would often mention “You know, you can do this too!” Fascinated by the practical application of science and the desire to improve people’s quality of life, Dr. Suzuki earned a doctorate of dental medicine (DMD) at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania in 1998. Dr. Suzuki moved back to San Diego and opened his own private practice in downtown El Cajon in 2000. Two years later he moved his practice to its current location on Fletcher Parkway. Dr. Suzuki's calm manner and sense of humor make you feel as though you have known him forever while naturally making you feel welcome. Patients often comment about how relaxed and comfortable they feel with Dr. Suzuki. His sincere concern for his patients’ comfort does not go unnoticed. He is patient and always takes his time with each and every person. Even the most fearful patient can feel at ease with Dr. Suzuki. When not working, Dr. Suzuki enjoys spending time with his wife. It is not uncommon to find them either at the San Diego Zoo or Safari Park sharing their passion for animal conservation. Dr. Suzuki also enjoys mountain biking and is on a nonstop quest for a great burger. Buffalo chicken wings are a weakness. He roots for the Padres and Aztecs and hopes that one day the Chargers return to San Diego.
