About Armand Simone
Dr. Armand Simone is a native New Yorker who has been practicing Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Manhattan for more than 35 years. A graduate of Loyola University, Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago, he continued an additional seven years of postgraduate training in New York City, completing full residencies in both General Surgery and Plastic Surgery. His training in plastic surgery placed special emphasis on cosmetic surgery where he continued to develop his expertise, becoming one of the most respected surgeons in New York and the United States. Dr. Simone has worked and taught Plastic Surgery in Italy, France and Russia. He has hosted noted national and international physicians in teaching seminars in the most advanced and current aspects of plastic surgery.All major procedures performed by Dr. Simone are done in Manhattan at his private, certified ambulatory surgical facility (Park Plastic Surgery Center) or at Lenox Hill Hospital. At both facilities, every patient is monitored by a fully trained, physician anesthesiologist with extensive training in ambulatory plastic surgery. During procedures, there is continuous monitoring of blood pressure, tissue oxygen levels, heart rate, respiration, and electrocardiogram. Dr. Simone has chosen a select group of highly experienced anesthesiologists who have demonstrated excellence in their field and who maintain the safest and most appropriate level of monitored anesthesia to assure patients of a smooth, effective and safe anesthetic experience.All the anesthesiologists affiliated with the Park Plastic Surgery Center have been in the forefront of the development of specialized techniques, skills, and protocols which have become the gold standard for this very specialized area of anesthesia.
