About Andrew W. Ferrier, DDS
Dr. Andrew Ferrier, DDS, is a native Californian from Oakland providing cosmetic dentistry and other dental services to families and individuals in East Bay, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Orinda and Berkeley. He graduated from the University of California, San Diego, with an undergraduate degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry. After completing dental school at the University of California, Los Angeles, where he earned a DDS, he attended the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he completed his residency and received a Certificate in Post-Graduate Prosthodontics. Since graduating from UCSF, Dr. Ferrier has worked as both a general dentist and a dental implant specialist. Dr. Ferrier has served as the lead prosthodontist in the Oakland office of the nation-wide dental implant company ClearChoice. Dr. Ferrier was an assistant clinical professor for a number of years at UCSF where he taught dental students about implant and prosthetic principles and clinical techniques. Dr. Ferrier now provides family dentistry while continuing to offer patients the highest level of prosthodontic care with a focus on general, cosmetic and implant dentistry. Dr. Ferrier’s wife, Katie, is also a native Californian originally from El Cerrito. They have a young son and daughter. They enjoy hiking in the nearby hills and spending time playing sports.
