About Amir J. Nafso, DDS
Having grown up in Southfield and graduating from Southfield Lathrup Senior High School, Dr. Nafso went to Ferris State University and received his Bachelors Degree in Biology. He then went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa. GO HAWKS! It was important for him to complete a 2 year post graduate course at Detroit Receiving Hospital to better prepare himself for private practice and overall patient care. Prior to establishing his office in Bloomfield Hills in 2001, Dr. Nafso began his private practice in a small office in Southfield. Some of his first patients may remember that small office where he began. Dr. Nafso has made two moves to the current space that he is in now. He is married to a beautiful lady whom most of you know as Dr. Tabangay (Yvette). They have 3 beautiful daughters. As a family they enjoy weekend road trips and skiing. Dr. Nafso’s hobbies include being a spectator at his daughters soccer, swimming and volleyball games. He also enjoys movies and dinner our with his foodie wife. His hobbies include playing golf and exercising. Dr. Nafso has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Dr. Nafso and his staff take pride in bringing the latest techniques, equipment and materials that makes the dental experience pleasant for his patients.
