About Aly Sergie, DDS
Dr. Aly Sergie graduated from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State) in 2.5 years and moved to Dallas to attend a 4 year program at Baylor College of Dentistry. Wanting to extend his formal training, Dr. Sergie completed a highly selective 1 year Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry. Dr. Sergie chose to serve the vibrant neighborhood of Uptown where he has lived for the past 9 years. While in the first 5 years of practice - Dr. Sergie has received numerous awards including New Dentist of the Year - 2010 by the Dallas County Dental Society (an organization that serves over 1200 dentists in the Dallas area) and a statewide - Texas New Dentist of the Year Nominee by the Texas Academy of General Dentistry. He is frequently asked to serve on leader panels at the local and state level. In 2012-2014 he will serve as the voice of the Dallas County Dental Society as Editor of the DCDS Newsletter - Dateline. Dr. Sergie's extended training includes over 1250 hours of extended education. This amounts to over 250 hours a year. The Texas Board of Education requires dentists to complete only 12 hours. Dr. Sergie's commitment to clinical excellence extends to all facets of cosmetic dentistry including Veneers, Porcelain Crowns, Teeth Whitening and Bonding. Also included Dental Implants, Minimally Invasive Dentistry and Facial Pain. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sergie enjoys travelling, photography and spending time with his wife.
