About Alvydas Kukleris, DDS
Dr. Alvydas Kukleris has an extensive amount of education and experience in the field of dentistry. His dental education and interest began in Lithuania, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Science (DDS) from the Kaunas University of Medicine Faculty of Odontology in 2001. He then completed his General Practice Residency in 2002 and served as a general practice dentist in Vilnius, Lithuania until 2004. It was also during this time that he took part in the Advanced Specialty Education Program in Prosthodontics at Kaunas University. Dr. Alvydas Kukleris relocated to the United States in late 2004, quickly enlisting as a Personnel Specialist in the US Navy. After spending Christmas, New Year's Eve and Valentines day in naval boot camp, Dr. Kukleris was enrolled in the US Navy's personnel specialist school, finishing at the top of his class. He proudly served in the Navy until 2009, receiving an honorable discharge as a Personnel Specialist Second Class (E5). During his time in the Navy, Dr. Alvydas Kukleris received his Master of Science in Health Sciences (MSHS) degree from Trident University International (TUI), graduating Summa Cum Laude. He then went on to earn his DDS from the NYU College of Dentistry in May 2012, graduating as Valedictorian of his class. Dr. Alvydas Kukleris has received multiple honors throughout his scholastic career, including memberships in the NYU College of Dentistry Periodontics Club and the reception of the Alpha Omega International Fraternity Award for obtaining the highest scholastic average in his class. He has volunteered his time and expertise for many nonprofit organizations, including the American Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, the American Cancer Society and more. He is currently a member of the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
