About Alicia B. Cayon, DMD
With over 30 years of experience, Dr. Alicia Cayon has an impressive history in Dental Medicine. Her professional approach is that every patient she treats receives the best dental care available, in a comfortable setting, in a compassionate manner, with high levels of professionalism and honesty. She graduated at the top of her class from the Superior Institute of Medical Sciences in Villaclara, Cuba, in 1985. She was an Assistant Professor from 1985 to 1991 and graduated as Orthodontist in 1993 at the same dental school. In 1995 she received her degree from the Romulo Gallegos University in Venezuela, where she practiced as a General Dentist and Orthodontist until 2002. She moved to Miami and started as an Orthodontics Assistant, then she got her Dental Hygienist license in which she practiced for 7 years. She earned her degree as Doctor in Dental Medicine after attending Nova Southeastern University from 2011 to 2014. Dr. Cayon is dedicated to her profession and has always made it her priority to actively update her knowledge base and practice in order to stay on the front edge of technology and innovation in dentistry. Dr. Cayon is an authorized Invisalign provider and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Florida Dental Association, the International Dental Implants Association and the Progressive Orthodontic Seminars. All of which are highly distinguished organizations in the field of dentistry and are a testament to the doctors commitment to her patients.
