About Alejandro Cavazos, DDS
Dr. Cavazos has a very well-known and respected dental reputation throughout San Antonio. He has been providing quality comprehensive dental care in the community for over 9 years. He is a native of Brownsville, Texas and graduated from the University of Chicago with a degree in music. Dr. Cavazos taught high school science and coached high school sports before his career in dentistry. In 2006, he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School and graduated in 2010. Dr. Cavazos then furthered his training by completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program from 2010-2011, earning the Resident of the Year award. Dr. Cavazos earned the distinct honor of Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry in 2016, an achievement reached by less than 6% of all general dentists in the United States and Canada. He is currently enrolled in comprehensive advanced education courses through the Pankey Institute in Florida. For 5 decades, the Pankey Institute has trained and mentored the future of dentistry with a commitment to excellence. When not practicing Dentistry, he and his wife enjoy spending time with their three children, Cyanna, Cameryn, and Cason.
