About Alberto J. Aviles, MD
Dr. Aviles is Board-Certified in both plastic and general surgery. He can address a wide range of aesthetic situations whether cosmetic or reconstructive, including employing more recent techniques like fat grafting and experience with anatomic implants (FDA approved for the US in February, 2013). He offers cosmetic procedures for breast, face and body—including post-bariatric body contouring—treatments specific to men and those designed especially for mothers. Non-surgical options, like injectibles and fillers, are also available. Dr. Aviles also offers advanced techniques for breast reconstruction, surgical correction for hand and wrist problems and aesthetic repair for skin damaged by cancer. He is the Director of the Wound & Hyberbaric Center at Providence Park, caring for a variety of complex wounds. Dr. Aviles strives to provide his patients personalized recommendations that will allow them to make informed decisions. His practice philosophy is one of patient accessibility and convenience. Prompt and thorough communication with the patient’s physician is a top priority. Follow-up consultations and support for referring physicians is standard practice. Dr. Aviles earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed residency training at the Medical College of Wisconsin affiliated hospitals. Additionally, he completed his hand fellowship training at NYU Langone Medical Center.
