About Akash M. Aghera, DMD
Dr. Akash M. Aghera is Founder and owner of Bridgehampton Dental and takes pride in value and culture we have developed here. Dr. Aghera strongly believes that serving people with empathy and compassion creates a big difference how people view dentistry in General. With his kind nature and gentle hands Dr. Aghera will make you comfortable in most stressful of the situations. Dr. Aghera Graduated cum laude (with honors) from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2010. Before Graduation Dr. Aghera got his Degree of bachelor’s in dental surgery with distinction from Government Dental College and Hospital in Jamanagar, India. While in Dental School Dr. Aghera was on Dean’s Roll of Honor for Academic achievements and was awarded scholarship. He received honor form Omicron Kappa Upsilon a national dental honor society for overall academic excellence. After his training in Dental School, Dr. Aghera continued to gain valuable knowledge to enhance his skills in Dentistry. He has taken numerous Continuing Education courses including courses in Cosmetic Dentistry, Implants, Root Canal Treatments, Invisalign and orthodontics to list few. He believes that learning is process that should continue throughout the career to achieve excellence in any field. When not doing dentistry, Dr. Aghera enjoys spending time with his family, his wife Punam, daughter Mahi and son Anuj. He will watch any sports you can name and a fan of Carolina Panthers. Traveling and seeing new places is his favorite pastime.
