About Ajay Dhingra, DDS
Dr. Dhingra is a board-certified Prosthodontist practicing at the West Hartford Dental Group. He completed his certificate program in Prosthodontics with a master’s degree in Oral Biology in 2008 from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine, New Jersey. Since 2008 he has been teaching Prosthodontics at the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine. He provided high quality patient care at the UConn Health Center, Farmington, CT until April 2019. Professionally, he is diplomate of American College of Prosthodontists. He is one of very few board certified Prosthodontists in Connecticut. He is actively involved with the Connecticut State Dental Association and serves on the board of Hartford Dental Society. He lectures on his subjects at local and national dental meetings. He has published articles in peer reviewed journals. His area of expertise include restorative, crown and bridge, veneers, dentures, planning and restoring dental implants, full mouth reconstruction, digital smile design, and esthetic smile makeover. He believes in continuing education. He takes courses, attend meetings to keep up with current technologies, advancements in dentistry and hone his skills. He lives in West Hartford with his family, his wife Dr. Sejal Thacker and two children, Krish and Meera. He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, biking, running and photography.
