About Ajay Amin, DDS
Dr. Amin grew up in southern California, and when he was younger, he spent a lot of time working in his parent’s hotel. As he helped his father fix things around the building, he realized how much he loved working with his hands to repair anything that was broken. During his first dental checkup as a child, Dr. Amin became fascinated with the dental industry, and the rest is history. For Dr. Amin, dental work is akin to construction work and repair, but on a micro-scale with a detailed, artistic aspect. Before attending dental school, Dr. Amin graduated Magna Cum Laude from UC Irvine with a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences. He went on to earn his dental degree from the University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry and he completed his dental residency at UNLV. Dr. Amin specializes in dental implantology and dental surgery, and he is also certified in IV sedation. After dental school, Dr. Amin and his wife practiced in Seattle, Washington, before moving back to California to be closer to family. Dr. Amin feels honored that he was chosen by Dr. Woznuk to take over his practice and take care of his patients. When he’s not in the office, Dr. Amin loves to work on projects around the house, and he also enjoys watching basketball and spending time with his wife. Together, they cook and get outside to hike and enjoy nature.
