About Afshin Rahimi, DMD
Dr. Rahimi received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Davis and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He then attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, where he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While at Tufts, he earned the American Academy of Implant Dentistry Student Award. Dr. Rahimi furthered his education by completing a general practice residency at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He has continued to take courses that have enhanced his clinical and dental knowledge. Dr. Rahimi has trained at the World Clinical Laser Institute for soft tissue surgical and periodontal applications. He has also taken advanced courses in implantology with the world-renowned Trinon Collegium Practicum. Dr. Rahimi is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and San Francisco Dental Society. When Dr. Rahimi is not at the office, he enjoys playing basketball and golf and rooting for the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers.
