About Adrienne N. Choksi, MD
Dr. Adrienne Choksi is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in general and cosmetic dermatology. She was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, then attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate studies. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, where she earned the Alpha Omega Alpha honors society award for being in the top of her class. She then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she did an internship in internal medicine, followed by residency training in dermatology at the University of Michigan. After finishing residency, Dr. Choksi worked for several years in academic practice, where she gained experience with complex skin cancer patients. She was given an outstanding teacher award by dermatology residents, and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. She has experience with general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her interests include general and cosmetic dermatology, and early detection and prevention of skin cancer. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Texas Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the Texas Dermatological Society, and the Houston Dermatological Society. Dr. Choksi lives in Houston with her husband, 2 children, and dog. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, running, cooking, and gardening.
