About Adam R. Winckler, DDS
Dr. Adam Winckler is a Comprehensive General Dentist at our practice in Hinsdale, IL. Dr. Winckler was raised in the far western suburbs, attended college at Augustana College in Rock Island, IL and followed with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Following dental school he completed a certification of a general practice residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Winckler practiced in the far west suburbs for seven years before joining the practice in Hinsdale. During that time he dedicated himself to two things: building lasting relationships and continuing education. Dr. Winckler has received advanced dental training at the prestigious Pankey Institute and Spear Education. He has served on Medical Staff in the Department of Surgery with Cadence Health Systems. His professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Chicago Dental Society, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Equilibration Society and American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Winckler is an active member of multiple advanced education groups including the Dupage County Study Club and Seattle Study Club of Oak Brook. These small groups are comprised of some of the Nation’s leading lecturers and clinicians. Though Dr. Winckler is a restorative dentist, he has a special interest in Temporomandibular Disorders (TMJ or TMD) and Sleep Disorders (Sleep Apnea). Dr. Winckler currently lives in the western suburbs with his wife Heide, two sons Evan and Alex, and their dog Tucker. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys all outdoor activities.
