About Adam Fienman, DDS
The son of an orthodontist and dental hygienist, Dr. Adam Fienman grew up in southern New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Michigan, where he majored in anthropology-zoology and minored in classical archaeology. During undergraduate training, he spent time volunteering at the hospital and taking seminars on medicine, but it wasn’t until a conversation with his grandmother that dentistry was cemented in his mind as the perfect career. Dr. Fienman was thrilled to stay in Ann Arbor to continue his study of dentistry, earning his dental degree from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2005. Rather than jumping into private practice, Dr. Fienman pursued further training, completing a general practice residency in 2006 at University Hospital in Ann Arbor. During this year, he was able to gain valuable experience treating a wide range of patients with complex medical needs. Since completing his formal training in Ann Arbor, Dr. Fienman has been practicing dentistry in metro Detroit. He has completed a wide range of continuing education courses in order to expand his clinical offerings to his patients. Those courses included extensive training in oral surgery, dental implants, bone grafting, orthodontics, and Invisalign. He is a lifelong learner and continues to take courses above and beyond the state requirements in order to stay up-to-date and provide his patients with the highest level of care. Dr. Fienman and his wife, Tracie, are both dedicated members of the West Bloomfield community. While Dr. Fienman has been transplanted from the east coast, Tracie was raised in West Bloomfield and served as the Director of Congregational Engagement at Temple Israel for 15 years. When they are not working, they are busy keeping up with their four children: big sister Madelyn and triplets Hannah, Blake, and Levi. In order to stay fit and active, Dr. Fienman enjoys working out at the local CrossFit box and training their dog, Zeus.
