W. Garry Waldrop, DDS, is a skilled and dedicated dentist who provides conservative, compassionate, and gentle care to his patients at Lifetime Dental Care in Katy, Texas. Dr. Waldrop graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, and earned his dental degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston (now known as the UTHealth School of Dentistry). He’s a proud member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. Waldrop has continued to deepen his skill set and stay at the forefront of advances in dental techniques and technologies by taking hundreds of hours of continuing education courses at dental schools, private institutions, and dental conventions. He’s completed two mini-residencies in aesthetic and implant dentistry, and he was granted a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry after completing 500 hours of continuing education. Dr. Waldrop is driven by a passion for connecting with his patients. He enjoys improving the smiles of people from all over the country and learning about their families and backgrounds. He believes that everyone has something special to share, and he strives to give them the opportunity to do so in a comfortable, anxiety-free dental environment. Outside of the office, Dr. Waldrop enjoys hunting, fishing, scuba diving, water skiing, bicycling, running, snow skiing, and working in his barn, where he builds cars for road racing at the Texas World Speedway. He and his wife, Karen, live with their dog in a country house in Simonton, Texas, where they raise horses and compete in team penning. As their children have become adults, they’ve enjoyed traveling domestically and internationally.
