About William A. Liss, MD
I was born in South Bend, Indiana and my family moved to Hollywood, California when I was young so that my siblings and I could pursue acting. We had 6 kids in the family and there were some successes in Hollywood. Although I never hit it big, my claim to fame is the cover of TV Guide in 1967 for an article about too much TV for children. Since acting did not pan out, I stayed with my studies. UC Santa Barbara, to The Ohio State University, to Emory, to Indiana University, and then back to California. As of 2011, I have 20 years of practice with Kaiser Permanente. I live in the wonderful town of Danville with my wife and 3 rapidly growing kids. I love spending time with my family, gardening, mountain biking, cooking, and dining.
