About William A. Frasersmith, DDS
Dr. William Frasersmith grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area in the town of Los Altos. He attended U.C. Santa Barbara, where he graduated with a B.A. in Biological Sciences in 1993. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree from the UCLA School of Dentistry in 1997. While in dental school, he was honored to serve as his Class President. Upon graduation, he was elected into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon. Following dental school, Dr. Frasersmith returned to the Bay Area to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at the V.A. Palo Alto Medical Center in 1998. Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Frasersmith and his wife relocated to the North Bay. Since 2003, Dr. Frasersmith has maintained a private practice in Petaluma that is devoted to general, cosmetic and prosthetic dentistry. Dr. Frasersmith is always striving to expand his skills and dental knowledge and takes hundreds hours of continuing education. He has completed the Frank Spear Mastery Continuum. He is a member of the Faculty Club at Spear Education and returns for numerous seminars and workshops every year. He is also a member of the American Academy of Clear Aligners, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Redwood Empire Dental Society, Dr. Frasersmith resides in Novato, California with his wife and three sons. In his spare time, he enjoys road and mountain biking, downhill skiing, playing keyboards, standup paddleboarding, hiking and camping.
