About William Burkhart, DDS
Dr. Burkhart began practicing in 1996 and is focused on general dentistry for adults and children. He believes that prevention and early treatment result in optimum dental health. Dr. Burkhart received his DDS degree with Cum Laude honors from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio after graduating with honors from the University of North Texas in Denton. In addition to his focus on prevention, Dr. Burkhart’s ranging expertise includes single visit crown, 3-D dental implant planning, cosmetic dentistry, and Invisalign. Dr. Burkhart is a member with the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Capital Area Dental Society. He has served as the Dental Advisor for the University of Texas Men’s Athletic Program. When not practicing dentistry, you may find Dr. Burkhart and his wife Kim on the Town Lake Trail or at one of the many Texas Longhorn sporting events with their University of Texas graduate children. Philanthropies that are near to his heart are The Refuge of Austin for DMST and Austin Disaster Relief Network.
