About Whitney L. Delozier, MD
Dr. DeloZier was born in California and raised just down the road in St Petersburg. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in journalism from the University of Florida and then went on to the University of South Florida for a second Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical science. She received her medical degree from the University of South Florida College of Medicine in 2009. Dr. DeLozier completed her Internal Medicine internship at the University of Pittsburgh and her dermatology residency at the University of Texas in Houston where she acted as Chief Resident during her final year. In between, she worked for two years in clinical research at the Center for Clinical Studies in Houston. During that time, she participated in more than 30 different clinical studies regarding new treatments for eczema, acne, psoriasis, genital warts, herpes, rosacea, shingles, and post-herpetic neuralgia. Dr. DeLozier has more than 30 dermatology industry publications in peer-reviewed journals and books chapters in addition to presentations at national, state, and local dermatology meetings. Dr. DeLozier is board certified in Dermatology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. DeLozier enjoys seeing patients of all ages. Her practice focuses on medical dermatology, cutaneous surgery, and cosmetic procedures. In her free time, Dr. DeLozier enjoys traveling, hiking, and camping with her husband children, participating in triathlons, and watching Gator football.
