About Walter P. Mcginn, DMD
Dr. McGinn was born in Coventry, Rhode Island, and attended Bishop Hendricken High School in Warwick. He continued his studies at Providence College, and achieved his Doctor of Dental Medicine at the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 1987. During the following year, Dr. McGinn completed his General Practice Residency at Long Island Jewish Hospital. He worked as an Associate in New York until finally opening his own practice in Putnam, Connecticut in 1994. Dr. Walter McGinn is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association, and the Northeastern Connecticut Dental Society, where he is a past President. Dr. McGinn also has the honor of being elected to the Pierre Fouchard Academy, an international organization dedicated to uniting the best dentists around the globe. Dr. McGinn loves his job because he enjoys correcting a dental problem by creating a happy smile.
